The Council of the European Educational Research Association (EERA), which includes 42 national associations, meets twice a year. These meetings provide an opportunity to review progress, discuss current issues and plan for the future. On 24-25 March 2023, the Ukrainian Educational Research Association (UERA) was represented in Berlin by its President Oksana Zabolotna. In addition to discussing the issues on the agenda, the EERA Council heard information on the implementation of individual and group projects of UERA members that received support from the European Association.

On 05 May 2022, the international round table 'Education and Educators at War' was held to identify the specifics of different models of adaptation of teachers and educational institutions to war conditions, and to identify effective tools to help Ukrainian educators cope with the difficulties of wartime.
The round table was organised by Drogobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University, represented by the Chair of Law, Sociology, and Political Science together with the Ukrainian Educational Research Association. The event was initiated by Professor Svitlana Shchudlo.
