On 18 June 2026, the research team behind the project "Evaluating the Effectiveness of the Can’t Wait to Learn Programme in Ukraine" hosted an online meeting with parents and children who had participated in the study. The event provided an opportunity to share the main findings of the programme evaluation and to thank participants for their valuable contribution to the research.
During the session, animated characters from the Can’t Wait to Learn (CWTL) application introduced participants to the purpose and key stages of the study in a child-friendly format. Members of the research team then explained how data had been collected and analysed and presented the main findings regarding the programme's impact on children's learning outcomes and psychosocial well-being. Particular emphasis was placed on the essential role that children, parents, and schools played in generating reliable research evidence and advancing knowledge about effective educational interventions.
To make the findings accessible to a wider audience, the research team also shared a short animated video summarising the study and its key results.

In addition to the online event, a group of participating children met with the research team in person at Educational Complex No. 1 in Uman. These students had previously appeared in the documentary "A Day in the Life of a Researcher", making the event an opportunity to reconnect with the team and learn about the outcomes of the study in which they had taken part. During the session, the children asked questions, reflected on their experiences, and revisited the research journey from a participant's perspective.
The research team expressed its sincere appreciation to the children and their families for their trust, engagement, and contribution throughout the evaluation. Parents and students were invited to share their feedback, ask questions, and discuss their experiences of participating in the project.
The meeting represented an important step in strengthening dialogue between researchers and participants and demonstrated the value of transparent communication and public engagement throughout the research process. By sharing findings directly with participating families, the project reinforced its commitment to ethical research practices, accountability, and the responsible dissemination of evidence to the communities involved.
