Ukrainian Educational Research Association has started All-Ukrainian Teaching and Learning Survey (based on TALIS methodology). The project is to be realised between February 1 and August 31, 2017. It addresses principals and teachers of comprehensive schools as a part of the Teacher Project.
In the journal "The Higher Education of Ukraine" (issue #1, 2017) in the rubric "Information. Reviews. Announcements" there has been published Svitlana Schudlo and Serhiy Kurbatov's as co-authors information about the First International UERA Conference «Empirical Research for Reforming Education in Ukraine» held with support of the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine in America House, Kiev.
Serhiy Kurbatov conducted an interview with Theo Wubbles, professor at the University of Utrecht (the Netherlands) and president of the European Educational Research Association (EERA). The interview is published in the new issue of the journal ‘Philosophy of Education’ (№2/2016) (http://www.philosopheducation.com/images/Files/PDF/2016_issue_2/14.pdf).

On February 11, 2017 America House, Kiev hosted the First International UERA Conference «Empirical Research for Reforming Education in Ukraine» organized in the partnership of the Ukrainian Educational Researchers Association (UERA), the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University and Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.
